Pamela of The Posh Box Scraps made this super cute freebie kit called Soft Christmas Wishes.

I made two tagger-sized quickpages using some of the papers and elements of this kit.
They are in .png format. You can download them by clicking on the thumbnail previews and then choose 'save as' from the right-click menu.

Someone had left me a comment about my 'Feels Like Autumn' kit and the fact that not everybody can open .psp files so I saved the kit elements in .png format and added a new download link for the kit.

Well, we came back home on August 22 but I have

been pretty busy with straightening out our apartment. Haven't been able to
do much though having the kids constantly in my feet.
So, our place still looks a bit like a warehouse although it is clean - the
cleaning lady came on Monday afternoon - but there's still much to do.
Anyway, I've also been busy trying to sort out my mail and stuff but I got
some time to work on a few new elements which I'm presenting today :)

The first freebie is 3 metallic-looking butterflies and the second one is a
set of assorted elements tarnished-looking and with a golden frame.

All items are large and 300 ppi/dpi in .png format.

The time for the second part of my summer vacation is getting closer.
Hubby and I will probably leave on Thursday afternoon if I manage to get everything ready by then. I've still got some ironing to do and I haven't packed anything so there's still much to do.
But, of course instead of doing my chores, I am sitting here and making a new entry because I've just finished a brand new freebie!!! :)

We came back from our two-week vacation on Saturday morning and since then I've been working on a new kit. I was experimenting with Super Blade Pro and liked how the elements came out so I decided to make my kit look 'old' and 'rusty'.

My new freebie kit called 'Rusty Memories' includes the following:

I have been busy sorting my folders again. It seems this is a never-ending process!! LOL
Anyway, I have been trying to finish whatever needs to be done around my house so we can leave on a 2-week vacation tomorrow morning...or noon...or whenever we get to get ready LOL
So, I haven't worked much on anything BUT I didn't want to leave without making a new treat for you guys!
So, I made a little freebie for today that includes two butterfly elements using a new tutorial I came across.

This is the first time I've been tagged and honestly I don't know how to handle this especially the tagging part I have to do myself... as I don't know many people in the blog world lol :)
But I'm gonna give it a try.

Ok, let's go to the first part of stating 7 facts about me:

1. I don't like cold but I like heat even less .... summer has been my worst season lately as I've been suffering by hot flashes LOL
2. I drink far too much coffee.
3. I hate reading manuals and tutorials lol I spent all my school years studying too much and when I finished school I decided I've had enough with reading... nowadays I enjoy reading an occasional magazine or adventure/police/fantasy books.
4. I saw the first Superman movie when I was at primary school and was so fascinated that the next day I was in a nirvana... I did everything like a robot lol
5. I have a passion about keeping my home neat, clean and tidy and my kids drive me nuts when they make a mess everywhere LOL
6. I love adventure/fantasy/love comedy films.
7. I've always been artistically declined I guess. I love singing and I used to make craft work and the last few years I've been passionate about digital/computer graphics and designing.

'Summer Fun' new freebie kit and changes

It was about time I made something seasonal :)

I have decided to start using .png files for my scrap creations so that people who don't have Paint Shop Pro might benefit of them too.
My new kit is called 'Summer Fun' and it consists of 6 papers (I initially made 3600x3600 papers but then reduced them to half size as they ended up being huge). The elements contain a few things made with the help of shapes and images I tubed. But they also contain a crab image which I'm proud to say I mouse-drew it myself without any tutorial help and such. Those who know me, know that I don't like following tuts, mostly because I'm too lazy to read them through LOL :P

The kit contains the following items:

6 papers 1800x1800
2 mouse-drawn crabs
2 flowers
2 starfish
2 suns (made with shapes but with mouse-drawn faces by me)
1 photo frame (made by me)
3 gems (tubed by me)
1 banner
1 decorative bar (mouse-drawn by me and decorated with misc. shape items)

I'm back!!!
Well, not completely. I still need to install a whole bunch of programs and plugins on my computer BUT at least I was finally able to work on that lovely tutorial by Shawna. Many thanks!! :)

The first one which was supposed to be the surprise I was talking about before having to reformat my computer is a pack of 4 jeans elements, made with the use of filters only, no tut used; just my imagination. I haven't had the time to work on anything new due to problems my computer was having for quite some time now. So, last Friday I decided to reformat it. This procedure has taken up all my (little) free time and I'm still installing programs and stuff. Plus, my youngest son has been sick since Saturday morning and he's given me one hell of a time with his grumpiness :(
Firefox has also been giving me lots of trouble. I have no idea why, my computer should run smoothly but it seems it is always giving me errors of one kind or another. GRRRRR :(

WOOOHOOOO!!! Another Lexy original ;)

Well, it's been a few days since my last creation and it seems my muse visited me today :)
Guess what...I made a pack of papers and then decided to add a few elements to make them a kit. Wasn't sure what kind of elements to make and since I didn't want to use the same old shapes or brushes and stuff to make my elements I decided to take one of my hand-drawn creations and transform it!! It was a swirly heart! And with the addition of some plugins it turned out into a variety of 9 swirly hearts, other glassy, other beveled and other chrome. I think they all look pretty neat!! :)

The paper pack consists of 10 pieces of 800x800 pixels each. Here's the preview:

I know I said I mostly make stuff to be used by taggers, stat creators etc. but from time to time I like to make them BIG!! lol
