Rusty Memories Kit

Monday, July 28, 2008

We came back from our two-week vacation on Saturday morning and since then I've been working on a new kit. I was experimenting with Super Blade Pro and liked how the elements came out so I decided to make my kit look 'old' and 'rusty'.

My new freebie kit called 'Rusty Memories' includes the following:

6 grungy papers (the credits for the overlays are inside the .rar file)
2 flowers (mouse-drawn by me)
2 rusted keys (mouse-drawn by me)
1 rusted arrow
1 rusted knot element
1 rusted bow
1 wavy stitch
1 rusted divider element
1 set of rusted stars
1 rusted alpha
1 set of rusted numbers and symbols
2 rusted bracket frames

All elements are in .png format, they're quite big. The papers are 1800x1800.
My TOU and the credits are also included. Please respect my TOU. All my freebies are free for personal, non-profit use ONLY.
Please do NOT share the download links; share my blog link instead. Thanks :)

You can either download the whole kit here

A note and a new freebie!

Friday, July 11, 2008

I have been busy sorting my folders again. It seems this is a never-ending process!! LOL
Anyway, I have been trying to finish whatever needs to be done around my house so we can leave on a 2-week vacation tomorrow morning...or noon...or whenever we get to get ready LOL
So, I haven't worked much on anything BUT I didn't want to leave without making a new treat for you guys!
So, I made a little freebie for today that includes two butterfly elements using a new tutorial I came across.

I would also like to thank all those who leave comments when downloading; they are all very much appreciated!!

Here is the new freebie; clicking on the preview will take you to a larger version of the image.

The file includes two versions of the butterflies: a .psp and a .png one.

Please only share my blog link when you're sharing and remember to read my TOU before using my creations on your projects; thankies :)

I've been tagged!

Tuesday, July 1, 2008

... by Melissa of Sentimental Style!

This is the first time I've been tagged and honestly I don't know how to handle this especially the tagging part I have to do myself... as I don't know many people in the blog world lol :)
But I'm gonna give it a try.

Ok, let's go to the first part of stating 7 facts about me:

1. I don't like cold but I like heat even less .... summer has been my worst season lately as I've been suffering by hot flashes LOL
2. I drink far too much coffee.
3. I hate reading manuals and tutorials lol I spent all my school years studying too much and when I finished school I decided I've had enough with reading... nowadays I enjoy reading an occasional magazine or adventure/police/fantasy books.
4. I saw the first Superman movie when I was at primary school and was so fascinated that the next day I was in a nirvana... I did everything like a robot lol
5. I have a passion about keeping my home neat, clean and tidy and my kids drive me nuts when they make a mess everywhere LOL
6. I love adventure/fantasy/love comedy films.
7. I've always been artistically declined I guess. I love singing and I used to make craft work and the last few years I've been passionate about digital/computer graphics and designing.

Ok, now to the hardest part of tagging 7 other people:

1. Bel Vidotti
2. Digital Anemona
3. Georgia
4. Clarey
5. Lisa
6. Muriel
7. Vanilla Designz

phew! I'm done :)

'Summer Fun' new freebie kit and changes

Monday, June 30, 2008

It was about time I made something seasonal :)

I have decided to start using .png files for my scrap creations so that people who don't have Paint Shop Pro might benefit of them too.
My new kit is called 'Summer Fun' and it consists of 6 papers (I initially made 3600x3600 papers but then reduced them to half size as they ended up being huge). The elements contain a few things made with the help of shapes and images I tubed. But they also contain a crab image which I'm proud to say I mouse-drew it myself without any tutorial help and such. Those who know me, know that I don't like following tuts, mostly because I'm too lazy to read them through LOL :P

The kit contains the following items:

6 papers 1800x1800
2 mouse-drawn crabs
2 flowers
2 starfish
2 suns (made with shapes but with mouse-drawn faces by me)
1 photo frame (made by me)
3 gems (tubed by me)
1 banner
1 decorative bar (mouse-drawn by me and decorated with misc. shape items)

All elements are in .png format, the whole package is in .rar format and your comments are very much appreciated. Only my blog link is to be shared; for personal, non-profit use only; thank you :)

Previews are below. Click on the thumbnails for a larger view.

Feels Like Autumn Quick Page Freebie!

Monday, June 23, 2008

I've been thinking for a while now to try my hand at making a quick page. I wasn't sure if it'd look nice but I decided to make one with my latest kit. So without further ado, here;s my very first quick page:

This time the .rar file includes not only a .psp file of the quick page so that you can move things around but it also includes a .png file :)
